Hi, I’m Mary.
After many years as a teacher, I entered a new season of life where I began exploring new ways to grow, learn, and create opportunities online.

I created Mary – Happiness in Bloom as a place to encourage women who are stepping into a new chapter and discovering what is possible.

Before starting this blog, I spent over 27 years in education, helping students learn, grow, and gain confidence in their abilities.

My academic background includes a B.S. in Business Management from Mercer University, a Teaching Certificate in Middle School Education, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Tennessee Technological University.

I also earned certification in English as a Second Language (ESL) and spent the final eight years of my teaching career teaching ESL students.

• I spent 27 years teaching and helping students succeed.
• I love reading, writing, cooking, and gardening.
• I believe every season of life is a chance to grow and start something new.
• I enjoy learning new digital skills and sharing them with others.
• My goal is to encourage women to grow, thrive, and bloom in every season.

My Passion

My passion today is helping women realize that it is never too late to learn something new, start something meaningful, or create new opportunities.

Through writing, blogging, and sharing helpful resources, I love encouraging others to grow with confidence and curiosity.

Why I Created Happiness In Bloom

After many years in education, I realized that learning and growth don’t stop when we leave the classroom. Many women reach a season in life where they begin asking new questions about purpose, creativity, and opportunity.

I created Mary – Happiness in Bloom as a place to encourage women who are ready to explore what comes next. Whether that means learning new digital skills, rediscovering creativity, or simply finding inspiration for a new chapter, my hope is that this space offers encouragement and helpful guidance.

My years as a teacher taught me that growth happens step by step, and that everyone has the ability to learn something new.
